Why we publish
The purpose of GardenSolved is to make everyday gardening decisions easier. Answers are written for people first: identify the pattern, check the most likely explanation, avoid unnecessary treatment, and know when a problem needs closer investigation.
How an answer is built

Each answer is organized around a real gardening question, visible symptom, or practical task.

When an answer relies on external evidence, the relevant sources are recorded with the answer and shown on the page.

Sources and evidence
Sources are attached to the answers that use them. GardenSolved does not add a citation simply to make a page look more authoritative; a source is only exposed when it exists in the canonical evidence record for that answer.
Authorship and review
GardenSolved only names an author or reviewer when the identity and role can be substantiated. We do not invent bylines, credentials, expert review, or review dates for pages that do not have them.
Images and illustrations
Some educational visuals are generated or illustrated for GardenSolved. When an image is AI-generated, it is disclosed in the image description or caption. Illustrations are not presented as laboratory or photographic proof of a diagnosis.
Corrections and feedback
